BRIAN CAREY JOINS SPRING AUTOMATION

Spring Automation is pleased to announce the addition of Brian Carey as Director of Project Execution.

Nashville, TN — Tuesday, June 15th, 2021 — Spring Automation is pleased to announce the addition of Brian Carey to the Project Execution department as Director of Project Execution. In his new role, his duties consist of overseeing and directing the execution of multiple projects while guiding and mentoring Project Managers and Electrical Installation Supervisors. The Director of Project Execution is knowledgeable of contracts and understands the company’s strategic goals. Brian will be responsible for setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and creating complex schedules of projects being performed. His role will be a crucial component for Spring’s project management and client interactions.

Brian Carey graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Applied Technology, AS in Automated Industrial Systems. He has held a PMP Certification since 2009. Before joining the automation industry, Brian spent twenty-five years in manufacturing and served in the US Navy. During the last ten years, he was involved in Project Management and discovered that he was his passion. Brian gained experience through a small automation company as a General Manager before moving into the material handling industry at Designed Conveyor Systems (DCS). He had many roles at DCS, including Project Manager, Director of Engineering, Director of Client Support, and Director of Project and Site Management. You can find Brian camping with family in his spare time, playing golf for fun, or working on his family farm. He is most looking forward to working with old friends and being introduced to new ones. A fun fact about Brian is his favorite part of a project is commissioning, and he enjoys Project Management. He is excited to be a part of the growth that is ahead for Spring Automation.

SPRING AUTOMATION BECOMES A LOGISTICS PARTNER INTEGRATOR FOR COGNEX CORPORATION

Spring and Cognex partner together to implement camera solutions for integrators and end-users

Nashville, TN — Thursday, April 9th, 2020 — Spring Automation, a material handling controls integration company, announced their new partnership with Cognex. Spring is officially part of Cognex's network of LPIs (Logistics Partner Integrator). Spring engineers are participating in training and certification programs provided by Cognex and are assisting in the evaluation, integration, and support of Cognex camera systems across the country.

Spring Automation Announces Move Into New Nashville Headquarters

SPRING AUTOMATION ANNOUNCES MOVE INTO NEW NASHVILLE HEADQUARTERS

Spring relocates to new 11,000+ sqft facility to accommodate headcount increases and a larger controls lab.

Nashville, TN -- Wednesday, March 4th, 2020 -- Spring Automation, a material handling controls integration company, announced their new company headquarters located at 720 Fessey Park Rd, Nashville, TN 37204.  The 11,000+ sqft facility will house Spring’s growing team of engineers, project managers, and installation supervisors. It will also house an expanded controls testing lab and future conveyor test loop for project bench testing and R&D.

"The Spring team is excited about the move into a space that supports Spring’s strategy of performance, culture, and community," said Chelsey Arnold, VP over Operations.  "We will grow into our new space that brings energy to the team by showing a commitment to our growth and success.  In our HQ, we are able to create an environment that fits our culture and business needs.  We are also located in a growing community that we look forward to finding opportunities to support."
